These terms govern your use of this website and any cake inquiry you submit through it. By using this site you agree to them. This site is operated by Krissy's Kake Art LLC, a home-based bakery in Waynesboro, VA.

About this website

This website provides information about Krissy's Kake Art and allows you to send an inquiry about a custom cake. It does not process payments and does not complete an order.

Inquiries are not orders

Submitting the inquiry form starts a conversation. It does not create a contract, reserve a date, or confirm availability. An order exists only once Krissy has confirmed the details with you directly and any agreed deposit has been received.

Any figure discussed before that confirmation is an estimate. Final pricing depends on design, size, materials and delivery, and is agreed with you in writing before work begins.

Booking, changes and delivery

The following applies to orders and how they are booked:

• Design consultations are complimentary.
• Cake tasting boxes are available with up to 4 flavors for $35.
• Wedding orders have a $200 minimum.
• Changes to a confirmed order can be requested up to 2 weeks before the event.
• Rush orders — placed less than 7 days before the event — carry an additional charge of 25% of the order.
• Delivery fees start at $50.

Where we can sell and deliver

Under Virginia law, products made under the home food processing exemption may be sold and delivered only to individuals within the Commonwealth of Virginia. We cannot sell, deliver, or ship outside Virginia, and we cannot accept orders that would require us to do so.

Home kitchen disclosure

Products are made in a private home kitchen that is not subject to state inspection. Every product is labelled accordingly, as Virginia law requires.

Your information

What you send through the inquiry form is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not send sensitive personal information through this website.

Photographs and content

The text, photographs, designs and logos on this site belong to Krissy's Kake Art LLC unless stated otherwise. You may not reuse them commercially without written permission.

Accuracy and availability

We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current at every moment. Designs shown are examples of past work, not a promise of an identical result.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Krissy's Kake Art LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Virginia law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
